This past weeekend, the youth guard scored a 70.8 at the Millenium High School show. Here the members are shown with members of the desert mountain high school winterguard. You can still see the team perform at upcoming shows at Basha High School (2/27) and WGAZ championships on 3/28 at the phoenix coliseum.

This past Sunday concluded The Academy's second major camp weekend for the 2010 corps. The brass and percussion sections were in action while the colorguard section is in on break for the winter season. The headline for the weekend was to prepare the brass section for their upcoming performance at the annual Benefit Dinner in March as well as assembling the music ensemble for the newly learned closer to the 2010 field production. While many of the sections are currently full, The Academy is looking for a front ensemble, tuba, and euphonium positions to be filled by qualified individuals. Contact

Mark your calendars for the 9th annual Benefit Dinner for The Academy. This year's event will be held at the Tempe Center for the Arts on Friday, March 19th. Come and see members of the corps perform, partcipate in our large silent auction selection, and enjoy wonderful food and our keynote speaker Dick Stemple from the Fiesta Bowl.
