 The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps still needs to raise another $15,000 to reach its 2009 National Tour Raffle goal of $20,000. Your purchase of one raffle ticket will go a long way towards meeting that goal. All proceeds from the raffle will be used to help with the cost of this year’s 10,000 mile, 25 city tour. Tickets are $10 each or $50 for 6 tickets.

The drawing date is July 11th. You do not need to be present to win and you can link your ticket to a Corps member – if you are the grand ($1,000) or second ($500) prize winner, they will win $100 to take on tour.

 The Academy's annual audio recording is always an anticipated arrival. Our 2009 edition was recorded live at the Tempe Center for the Arts at the spectacular theater production - CenterStage. In addition to the 2009 field show
music, the cd features nearly an hour of all the music that was
performed at the theater production including special music performed
by guest drummer Gregg Bissonette, a dueling drumset duet with Gregg
and Academy age-out Wes Anderson, a section feature by the drumline
accompanied by Gregg on the set, the cymbal section, a funky and
hilarious composition performed by our tuba section, a groovy concert
percussion arrangement , and three extra brass pieces prepared just for
the CenterStage production. Re-live the experience you had at the
theater, or, if you could not see the show live, get the CD to find out
what you missed! |
 The Academy is looking for drivers with a Commercial Drivers License to
drive our two tractors during the summer tour. We do pay for these
services and the rate is negotiable! If you know someone that would
like to drive and see a bunch of drum corps, send them our way!
