Drum Corps is a physically and mentally challenging activity. Members push themselves further than many thought possible to be their absolute best. Over the course of an 80-day season, that drive and determination can take a toll and we need the support of licensed health professionals to help keep the members healthy and doing what they love.
The Academy is looking for credentialed medical professionals willing to donate their time to support the health and wellness of our members. If you are an RN, LPN, MD, Physician’s Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic, you can help.
Specialists in fields such as mental health, orthopedics, dentistry, etc. can also be valuable resources. We’re also looking for Certified Athletic Trainers to add to our roster. (This is a paid position.)
You don’t need to live in the Phoenix area to contribute. You can join us anywhere on tour. We may even be traveling through your area and you can drop by for a day. With modern communication technologies, we can also do amazing things from a distance.
Drum Corps experience is a plus, but not required. We have experienced people who can help you prepare for a successful stint on the road.
Volunteer opportunities are available for both our winter camps and summer tour.
